Scholarship/Awards
The Austin Alumnae Panhellenic Association (AAPA) offers yearly scholarships to initiated Junior or Senior collegiate sorority members from the Austin area. Scholarship recipients are members of National Panhellenic Conference sororities. The scholarships awarded are based on the applicant's grade point average, involvement with her sorority chapter, community service, and financial need.
Requirements for Application:
- You will have Junior or Senior collegiate status, in the fall semester of the calendar year you are applying for this scholarship.
- Your home address has a zip code beginning with "787" or "786".
- You will be registered as a full-time college student for the next college year.
- You will remain an active status in your collegiate sorority, during the next college year.
You will need the following materials with your application:
- One letter of recommendation, from someone other than a relative or student, who has knowledge of you as a sorority member (such as: your housemother, a chapter advisor, College Panhellenic Advisor, etc.)
- A letter, explaining why you are applying for financial assistance, through this scholarship.
- A copy of your current academic transcript.

Submission deadline: March 31, 2025.
Due to IRS regulations, funds will be paid directly to your university's bursar's office after proof of college registration for the Fall 2025 semester is received. Please note that receipt of this scholarship may or may not be considered by your university in determining your total financial aid package.
